Strange sounds have been heard all around the world, prompting many people to go to the internet to look for answers and post their own videos and audio. The latest video featuring the eery noise was taped in London and is apparently accompanied by a UFO.
A man can be heard in the background talking and saying how weird the sound is, but his reaction to the noise seems a little bit to thought out to be real. He first taped the strange sounds in the morning and then again at night. The second time he also claims to have caught a UFO on the tape as well.
“I’ve been hearing these noises on and off for the last few days, it started very low and now as you will hear has gone much louder. I ignored it at first as I hear noises coming from the factory behind my house all the time. Now I know something is happening. This is scary,” the video says.
While some of these sounds may be real, there seems to be a lot of hoaxes as people look for their 15 minutes of fame.
If the strange sounds were real, wouldn’t everyone be able to hear them? Wouldn’t there be news cameras broadcasting from the streets and interviewing people about the supposed groaning of the earth? And why do the sounds all sound exactly the same? Whether they are in the US, UK, Canada or Russia, the sounds sound exactly the same around the world.
As you can see in the map above, the sounds have been heard everywhere. Though there are a cluster of them in the US and less as you go to Europe or the Middle East.
It seems more likely that people are playing on the fear factor of 2012. Many people believe that 2012 will be the end of the world and while that may be true, many non-believers could easily make a joke out of it by making these strange sounds and then uploading the videos.
Do you think the newest video in London is real or a hoax? Have you heard these strange sounds yourself? If so, what do you make them out to be?
