Susan Sarandon, Life after Tim Robbins
Susan Sarandon, who stars in the film ‘Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps’, is giving fans and supporters a little peak inside her views and values on relationships after her break-up with longtime partner Tim Robbins. When news broke last year about their break-up, everyone was in shock. How could a couple who have been together for 23 years decide to end their relationship? Well it happened and life moves on.
Susan gave an interview to the UK’s Telegraph and said that people were coming up to her on the street after news broke about the break-up. Susan remembers people saying, “I cried and cried when I heard.” As for Susan’s reaction, “Well, I was sadder! I didn’t think it would ever happen, either.â€
But Susan thinks at this point that it’s possible their relationship was formed for the purpose of kids, stating, “You bring people into your life at certain times. Maybe you have a relationship to have children and you realize that it’s fulfilled after that point.â€
Susan and Tim have two children together, Jack and Miles. The two never married after all these years. Susan’s take on her relationship with Tim: “I’ve always liked the idea of choosing to be with somebody.â€
A New Twist to Life
Susan has taken on a new adventure in her life, one that she would never have thought would have happened in her lifetime. Susan is the proud owner of Spin, a popular New York ping-pong club. Susan stated, “If you’d told me a year ago I would own a Ping-Pong club I would have laughed until I fell on the ground.†Susan is planning on creating a documentary about the people that attend the club. There are many walks of life that go in and out of the club, from people trying to make the Olympics to undercover narcotics cops.
The latest rumor buzzing about Susan’s love life is that she is involved with her Spin partner Jonathan Bricklin, 31. But of course Susan did not confess to such a rumor, saying, “You have to have a sense of humor. There are lots of people in my life at the moment.â€
