Fraternity

My brother is off to some seashore

with cold water and warm sands. Warmer

something may propose him to enshroud.

Just a fraternal wishful thinking.

Last postcard has a whale on it or

just a shady spot in the blue.

Smells of the fishes come through.

I write back, everything is alright;

here aunt Rosy has come for a visit.

I wonder if this will keep you away.

My brother is off to some seashore

where his grief basks on sand till his faith

looks like white spots of minimal cloths

but I know there is tomorrow.

Just a fraternal wishful thinking.

A brother to a brother

He wishes he had a candle to light

in his brother’s name; he knows, this wish

Migratory birds are confused about

climates, directions, paths, traditions;

south pole melts and sea level seems cruel;

hybrid bears in the North growls in needs.

He entrusts his hands to his pocket.

Winter leaves flow towards opposite.

Suddenly there is no one. Houses

are only houses craving for wings.

He wishes he had a candle to light

in his brother’s name; he knows, this wish

can do the things a candle could have.
