Tamera Mowry, one of the former Sister, Sister stars is engaged. The actress has announced her engagement to Fox News Channel correspondent Adam Housley just days after twin sister Tia Mowry announced she is pregnant.
According to a report from People Magazine, Adam Housley proposed to Mowry while the two were in Venice, Italy. He presented her with a “limited vintage design engagement ring by Viraggio.”
Obviously Tamera Mowry said “yes” to Housley’s proposal.
“I’m beyond thrilled and feel so blessed to have him in my life,” she says. “Not only is he my love, but also my best friend.”
Both Tia and Tamera Mowry starred in Sister, Sister. The sitcom ran from 1994-1999 and was about identical twin sisters who were separated and adopted at birth. When the girls come face to face in a department store, they realize there’s way no way they’re not biological twins. They wind up sharing a home, along with both adoptive parents, and participating in a series of antics that only a sitcom can provide.
How exciting that both Mowry twins have such wonderful news to share within only days of one another. An upcoming wedding and impending birth of a new baby will keep their family busy for quite some time.
Congratulations to Tamera Mowry and Adam Housley on their engagement! The couple plans to marry some time later this year.
