Tasha Knox is the name of the woman who was discovered along the roadway near 31st Street and the Creek Turnpike in Tulsa on Saturday. The police have spent the weekend trying to figure out what happened to Knox and a new development may give them some clues as to how she ended up on the side of the road.

The newest development includes the discovery of the woman’s car. Her vehicle was found abandoned in a parking lot near the 71st Street and Garnett Road. The car didn’t have anything linking Knox to the car in terms of identification. It was a tip that led investigators to Tasha Knox and the connection was made. Knox’s body doesn’t appear to have any visible trauma. At this point, the State Medical Examiner’s Office is working on the body and trying to identify the cause of death.

Police investigators in the case have yet to release details about what was discovered inside the car, if anything. No fingerprints or DNA have been made public, but detectives have been vocal about finding a person of interest. No name or identity has been released, meaning police are keeping everything sealed. No arrests have been made in the murder case, but police are hoping for more clues in hopes of making sure the right person is caught.

Perhaps the person of interest is linked to Knox’s recent drug use. Maybe a seller decided to keep the money or drugs, which led to an altercation.
