This coming weekend will see pop/country superstar Taylor Swift appear on the 2010 Grammy Awards show and possibly pick up a truckload of trophies.  Just over a week before her scheduled awards show, a Taylor Swift CSI episode re-aired on CBS earlier on Thursday evening.  Swift plays a tragic girl who was murdered, a 16-year-old Haley Jones, on the show which originally aired on March 5, 2009 in the U.S. and Canada, and was reportedly watched by over 20 million viewers total.  Swift’s remix of her song “You’re Not Sorry” was also composed for the episode.

In addition to her acting work on CSI, Swift also appeared in The Hannah Montana movie, as a host and musical guest for Saturday Night Live (November 2009) and will appear in the upcoming movie “Valentine’s Day” as character Samantha Kenny.  Swift’s acting debut was officially in a Brad Paisley music video called “Online”.  Add to that her personal bikini swimsuit home video, motion capture for the video game Rock Band and Miss Swift’s got quite the acting resume developing.

Taylor Swift’s Grammy nominations are Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals and Best Female Country Vocal performance awards for the upcoming 52nd Annual Grammy Awards.  With the Taylor Swift CSI appearance recently re-airing, CBS clearly wants to focus the attention on this young superstar as she attempts to collect her golden trophies on next weekend’s award show.  The Grammys will air on CBS Sunday, January 31, 2010 live from Los Angeles, CA.
