Taylor Swift Looking for a Bad Boy: Is Harry Styles Good Enough?

Harry Styles has developed the reputation for being a bit of a flirty womanizer, not to mention a cougar chaser, but is the One Direction singer good—or bad—enough for Taylor Swift? Dating rumors are swirling about “Tarry.” And Swift recently admitted that she likes her boys to be bad (Styles fits the bill!), but her revelation may also explain why she’s had a hard time maintaining a long-term romantic relationship. They’re called “bad boys” for a reason!

File:5.3.10TaylorSwiftByDavidShankbone.jpg“I think every girl’s dream is to find a bad boy at the right time, when he wants to not be bad anymore,” Swift revealed to Parade magazine of her dating perspective, as Daily Mail reports. In the interview, she also candidly went on to say, “I don’t think there’s an option for me to fall in love slowly, or at medium speed. I either do or I don’t. I don’t think it through, really, which is a good thing and a bad thing. You don’t look before you leap, which is like, ‘Yay, this is awesome! Let’s not think twice!’ And then you’re like, ‘We used to be flying. Now we’re falling. What’s happening?'”

Swift has obviously had a tumultuous love life for her young 22 years, and it looks like she’s acknowledging her hopelessly romantic personality and her deep passion surrounding the idea of love and finding “the one.” It’s probably one of the reasons her music resonates so successfully with her fans; after all, her career has significantly benefited from her affinity for those troublesome heartthrobs. Her motley mix of problematic ex-boyfriends runs the gamut from Joe Jonas to Taylor Lautner, Jake Gyllenhaal to John Mayer and the list goes on. She evidently hasn’t found the right bad boy who is retiring his wayward actions quite yet.

Nor did her most recent fling with the 18-year-old Conor Maynard apparently satisfy the “I Knew You Were Trouble” songstress. Harry Styles seems a bit too similar to Maynard (floppy hair, young and famous) to be exactly the right fit for Taylor Swift—and chances are the British entertainer is far from his “bad-boy” phase.
