Taylor Swift’s Never-Ending Award Collection to Continue; Full List of Academy of Country Music Awards Nominations

Filed in Gather Celeb News Channel by on March 2, 2010 0 Comments

Taylor Swift, who’s won 59 of the 84 awards she’s been nominated for since her career began wayyyy back in 2007, is up for five more, now that the Academy of Country Music nominations have been announced. Even though Swift already has two ACM awards for her current Fearless album, she’s up for five more: Performer, Song, and Video of the Year for “You Belong with Me”; Top Female Vocalist; and Entertainer of the Year.

Daring to go up against the blonde juggernaut for the Entertainer prize are Kenny Chesney (who also has three other nominations); Toby Keith; Brad Paisley (four total noms); George Strait; Carrie Underwood (six total noms); Keith Urban; and the Zac Brown Band (four noms for the band, and another two for Zac as producer).

Lady Antebellum received seven nominations, but they apparently aren’t all that entertaining, since they’re not up for Entertainer of the Year. Miranda Lambert also got six nods.

The awards will be given out on CBS on April 18, after which Taylor Swift will probably begin campaigning for the Nobel, Pulitzer, and the Seymour Cray Computer Engineering Awards.
