‘Teen Mom’ Kailyn Lowry Jokes About Lesbian Rumors

Filed in Gather Celeb News Channel by on January 21, 2012 0 Comments

Kailyn Lowry of Teen Mom likes girls. At least, if the tabloids are to be believed she does.

Star magazine first reported that the Teen Mom first dated a girl in middle school. After a two year relationship with the girl, Kailyn started dating Jo Rivera, but not exactly exclusively. They go on to say that she developed a relationship with a girl named Gigi Hanna while she was still seeing Jo. They eventually moved in together, but always dated guys, too.

It’s a pretty crazy story considering none of this had ever been discussed before, but no one really seemed upset by the news. Many fans have responded and feel that whatever makes her happy is fine.

Kailyn has not exactly responded to the rumors, but she did take to Twitter to make some jokes regarding the story. First, she tweeted:

“I love my girlfriend Gigi! Haha”

Then, one disgruntled fan tweeted Kailyn, calling her a “lesbo,” but Kailyn didn’t let that bother her one bit and replied:

“I’m so offended.”

It is great that Kailyn has such a good attitude about all of this and isn’t letting it get to her. She isn’t the only Teen Mom who has had to deal with drama for being in the public eye. Leah Messer has been slammed for her engagement and pregnancy while Jenelle Evans is constantly being scrutinized (and has since turned over her Facebook to her friends.)

It seems strange that this story is coming at the same time Kailyn posed for the NOH8 campaign with fellow Teen Mom stars Maci Bookout and Catelynn Lowell. Is it a coincidence or something more?

Whatever the truth is about the story, it is obvious that Kailyn Lowry supports gay rights and that she has a really good attitude about all of this. Will she set the story straight for real? Does it even matter? Her fans don’t seem to mind one bit!
