‘Teen Mom’ Leah Messer Talks About Divorce

Perhaps the most heartbreaking episode of Teen Mom was aired Tuesday night. Fans watched as Leah Messer and Corey Simms moved on with their divorce. Perhaps the hardest part was watching Leah pack up her things and move out of the place that the two shared. Not only was Leah emotional, but Corey as well.

Fans hate to see the two apart, but on the Teem Mom 2 Aftershow, Leah assured that it was the right thing to do. She also offered some insight as to how she felt about things as they unraveled.

Leah said, “I just felt like it was too late. Everything had just gotten way out of hand. Moved way too fast. It was like we had no control of it.”

Is it a decision that Leah regrets? While she says that before the divorce she told Corey that they would look back and question their decision, she now says it was “for the best” and added, “I just feel like maybe we weren’t meant to be.”

It’s no secret that the two get along extremely well and when fans see them together (they were both at Ali and Aleeah’s first pageant), fans wonder if perhaps they could one day get back together. While that is something that fans would love to see, it doesn’t look like it will happen. They simply get along much better as co-parents than as husband and wife.

Fans hated to see the season finale end the way that it did, with so many questions left unanswered, but Leah Messer took to her Twitter (temporarily) to remind them of the reunion. She tweeted:

“We still have the reunion guys, dont worry, you’ll get your updates :)”

Of course, the reunion is sure to be emotional, just as this season of Teen Mom 2 turned out to be.
