Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe, have four daughters with different interests and schedules. However, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star does not have a nanny and in a new interview, she explains why.
“Gia, Gabriella, and Milania are in school all day, but Adriana is with me. I have no help with the girls. I just get a babysitter for book signings or when I have to shoot TV and the girls can’t come along. I cook dinner every night and I always cook for the kids before going out. I have one cleaning lady who comes every other week,” Teresa told Hollywood Life. She also added that she never wanted her girls to “love a nanny more” than her.
Teresa Giudice has the help of her parents who are often at her home, but the bottom line is that she prefers to be home with her children—and she has the luxury to do so. Back in the day, women had five or six children and they stayed home while their husbands went to work. There was no such thing as a nanny (unless they were insanely wealthy), and some say that generation of people had the right idea. Unfortunately, not everyone can afford to stay home (financially), but for those that can, they should. Teresa does a great job raising her girls and it’s great that she takes pride in being a stay-at-home mom (even though she technically has a job).
