Emily Maynard offered her final thoughts on Ryan Bowers and Kalon McMahon in her People blog. The Bachelorette 2012 episode of Men Tell All allowed Emily to face both men after watching the show all season.
Kalon’s apology didn’t mean a thing to Emily. She wrote in her blog that if he would have apologized to her genuinely, she would have accepted it and believed in the possibility they could have been friends. Kalon obviously didn’t know she got wind of a photo he posted online about seeing Emily near baggage claim in an airport.
“…But just days before the Men Tell All some people forwarded me a picture he posted on the Internet of a baggage claim and how he thought he’d see me there. His next post said, ‘Sorry I’m not sorry.’
He made it pretty clear he wasn’t sorry, so I wasn’t going to sit there and let him think he was tricking me into thinking he was a nice guy. People like Kalon make me sad and I’m just glad I never have to waste another second thinking about him!”
Emily’s exchange with Ryan was more civil on Men Tell All. At least Ryan didn’t hold back on who he was and stood by the way he was portrayed on The Bachelorette 2012 season.
Emily blogged about Ryan:
“I was hoping Ryan would watch the show and realize that if almost every guy in the house thinks you’re arrogant, you should probably do some self-reflecting and make some changes. However, the only thing that has changed about Ryan is his hair, which looks much better in my opinion. He still stands behind everything he said and did on the show, which, to be honest, doesn’t surprise me much.”
Although Emily didn’t like the arrogance of Ryan, she knew he was upfront about who he is and that went over better than the way Kalon handled things with her.
Next Sunday Emily Maynard makes her choice between Jef Holm and Arie Luyendyk. Who will it be?
The Bachelorette 2012 finale episode airs Sunday at 8 p.m., ET/PT on ABC.
