‘The Bachelorette’ 2012: What Emily Maynard May Miss with Jef Holm’s Hometown Date

Emily Maynard visits her four finalists’ hometowns in week 8 of The Bachelorette 2012. When she goes to Utah for Jef Holm’s hometown date, it’s possible she’ll miss meeting two important people in his life–his parents.

In a report on the Salt Lake City Tribune, the source speculated that since Jef said in a press conference that his folks are in South Carolina as Mormon mission presidents, they weren’t actually in their home state when Emily visited.

Will they appear on The Bachelorette after making a brief visit back home when the show was being filmed?

Given the fact Jef was raised Mormon and that he’s involved in the church, how will that impact his relationship with Emily if he’s the one she chooses? Although he’s a Mormon, Jef admits he’s not a “practicing” member of his faith.

That makes sense since most Mormons wouldn’t agree to go on a reality TV show to find their soul mate.

See what happens between Emily Maynard and Jef Holm Monday night when they have another romantic date. Jef has big plans for Emily after she visits his family’s Utah ranch!

Week 8 of The Bachelorette 2012 airs Monday, July 2 on ABC at 8 p.m., ET/PT.
