There have been plenty of “The Bachelorette” spoilers floating around this season as Emily Maynard hands out roses, and a comment made Friday will surely generate new speculation. Typically the contestants don’t speak to the press until they’ve left the show, but this season, ABC is doing things a bit differently. Friday frontrunner Arie Luyendyk, Jr. did a conference call with the media, and one of his comments has people buzzing.
Enterainment Tonight notes that during the conference call, Arie was asked if he would consider becoming “The Bachelor.” He replied, “My fiancée might not approve of that,” which some could take as a slip that he does indeed get Emily’s final rose. Reality Steve’s spoilers have narrowed down the final three this season to Arie, Sean Lowe, and Jef Holm, though Steve says he has not been able to absolutely confirm anything beyond that. He did say, however, that he feels certain that Arie and Emily are not the final couple this season.
Was Arie throwing out a teaser to lead “The Bachelorette” spoilers and theories off-track? Or, do things not play out this season the way many expected? Reality Steve has said that solid intel on this season’s ending has been a tough nut to crack, and Arie’s comments may set tongues wagging. What do you think about Arie’s “fiancée” comment? Which guy do you think Emily Maynard will choose for her final rose?
