Colin Firth, Geoffrey Rush and Helena Bonham Carter gave outstanding performances in The King’s Speech, one of the best films in the last 12 months. The film has been nominated for seven Golden GlobeÂ Awards and is positioned for the OscarÂ’s, among manyÂ other awards. Check out the CriticsÂ’ Choice Movie Awards this Friday, January 14th on VH1.
Colin Firth plays the son of King George V. He eventually ends up, almost unwillingly, as the reigning king. He struggles, as he faces his new role; he must confront his speech impediment and overcome it in time for the coronation.
