‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 4 Spoilers: A Hint of More Elijah?

The Vampire Diaries season 4 premieres on the CW on October 11, but fans are eager to find out what to expect when it does. Who will be back? What will Elena’s transition be like? How long before Joseph Morgan is Klaus again?

Vampire Diaries Season 4 Spoilers

Those are all still mysteries, but a recent tweet from Steven R. McQueen, who plays Jeremy, does seem to hint that Daniel Gillies, who plays Elijah, will be back and in a not-too-brief way. McQueen tweeted Saturday, “Shot new promo pictures @iansomerhalder @paulwesley @ninadobrev @danieljgillies @JosephMorgan @KatGraham @Michael_Trevino and @zach_roerig.” So it seems safe to say that you should expect to see some Elijah in The Vampire Diaries season 4, and that’s only a good thing.

Elijah became a character you wanted to see show up, even though he can’t be trusted. You didn’t want to see him killed last season, and that remains true. How will he factor into the fourth season? When will he find out that Klaus is in Tyler’s body? (Will he?) Elijah is certainly one character whose reaction should be entertaining to see regarding Elena becoming a vampire, especially since the scenes between Gillies and Nina Dobrev have always been among the best of an episode.

What are you hoping to see in The Vampire Diaries season 4?
