‘The Voice’ Season 3 Set for Fall with Christina Aguilera Already Signed?

The Voice is just getting started on season two, but the series is already looking ahead. There appears to be a third season of the vocal competition already in the works, and mentor Christina Aguilera has already signed on to be a part of it. That isn’t all though.

According to The Wrap, the third season could happen a lot faster than season two did. Fans nearly had to wait a year between season one and season two. That might not happen here. The Voice season three might air as soon as the fall, and that means it may go up against Simon Cowell and his US X Factor. That series has just had a shake up with many of the season one personalities involved given the ax.

The Voice has had a solid start to its second season, and Christina Aguilera is a big part of that. The fall date has not been confirmed, but Aguilera’s contract is to film episodes between September and December later on this year.

This isn’t the first time The Voice considered a fall season debut. After season one, the series considered a fall premiere for season two, but the series ending season one in June, the turn around would have been too quick. This year, the series would have more time to put something together in time for the fall.

What do you think? Would you watch The Voice or The X Factor if the two series went head to head this fall?
