Did The Voice’s Christina Aguilera just slyly bash both Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake? It certainly sounds that way, even though she grew up with both stars on The Mickey Mouse Club.

According to a report from PerezHilton.com, in a recent conversation about Max Martin–who wrote some of *NSync and Britney Spears’ songs–she not only discredited his work, but dissed her former co-stars as well.

“I’m not sure w christina aguilera ,bionic e would have been able to create the same music had we connected earlier. He did all the Britney and N’Sync songs, and I was doing something a little more daring. But we’ve gained respect for each other,” Xtina says.

As if that wasn’t enough, she then went on to diss the entire genre that Britney and Justin enveloped with their earlier hits.

“I don’t really push myself to have those formulaic commercial successes. It’s dishonest and it starts lacking creativity. I embraced being a pop artist, but I like doing it on my own terms, at my own pace,” she said.

It gets worse! Christina then sh*ts on her start in the pop music world.

“I had been pigeonholed as formula-pop driven, or molded or forced to be something I didn’t feel was true to me. I was labeled from Genie in a Bottle.”

Who does Christina Aguilera think she is? She very clearly is the diva she appears to be on The Voice–and maybe even worse. Yes, she’s brilliantly talented and has a set of lungs many singers would die for–but that doesn’t lessen what other successful singers have done or are doing now.

Do you think Christina crossed a few lines and was incredibly insulting to both Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake during this recent conversation?
