Tony Lucca is finally weighing in on Christina Aguilera’s behavior during season two of The Voice. He claims he was hurt and insulted to see her texting on her smart phone during his performance.
According to a report from Hollywood Life, Lucca called Aguilera ‘mean,’ and claimed he wouldn’t even ride in the same elevator if the door opened and she was already on board.
“I’ll catch the next [elevator],” he said.
Christina Aguilera even had the audacity to leave the room during one of Tony’s performances. Is that the ultimate insult a coach and judge could give a contestant on a singing competition?
Tony Lucca also admits it was difficult being the middle man between Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera’s feud.
“It’s two strong personalities,” he explained. “You know they are trying to pitch out their brand of coaching and state what they want, what their limits are and the battles they want to pick. Maybe I got caught in the crossfire a little bit, but for me personally it provided a great source of motivation. Maybe they learned something as a whole and maybe the show learned something.”
What some viewers have learned is that Christina Aguilera has worn out her welcome in their living rooms, and some hope that by the time season three of The Voice rolls around that she’s gone. Between her slovenly hair and makeup and sleazy clothing choices topped only by her rude interruptions and nasty attitude–do you think Christina Aguilera should be replaced on The Voice? Would you rather see her go or Adam Levine instead?
It seems Tony Lucca’s choice is probably very clear.
