They have no idea what happened to her, and for now, the assumption is she’s dead. So what does the group do next? When Axel calls his friends “good folks,” Glenn argues they were family. This group has become a family, and they’re hurting right now. When he sees Hershel on his crutches at the fence, Glenn leaves the prisoners to dig two more graves. So now there’s the question about needing three graves. Is one of those graves is for Andrew? Could they have found Carol’s body? Are they giving her a grave because they don’t know if they’ll find her (or find enough of her to tell)?
