Was Tiger Woods found dead at a Domincan Republic resort? A fake news report said that the professional golfer was found unresponsive in his rental house near Roko Ki resort. People immediately took to Twitter to question the validity of the report. However, the real news of the day is that Woods and Steve Williams made up after a recent racial remark from the caddie.
The Tiger Woods dead report actually admits it is a hoax in a gray box at the bottom of the page. Unfortunately celebrity death rumors get passed around all the time. That is what this is.
The golfer spoke with his former caddie Steve Williams earlier today, and Williams apologized for his recent racial slur. The good news is that they were in Sydney, Australia, so Tiger Woods cannot be dead in the Dominican Republic because he is not even there.
Of the racist remarks, Woods said, “It was a wrong thing to say, something that we both acknowledge. He did apologize. It was hurtful, certainly, but life goes forward. Stevie’s certainly not a racist. There’s no doubt about that. It was a comment that shouldn’t have been made and was certainly one that he wished he didn’t make.”
So, there you have it. The former number one golfer in the world is not dead. For some reason, somebody, somewhere decided to make a Tiger Woods dead hoax and write a fake story about it. Be sure to be careful because oftentimes, unscrupulous people end up using this as a way to infect your computer and steal your information.
