Tip For Goof Proof Baking

When baking anything from scratch after you put your flour in the bowl take all your other ingredients and put them in small piles on top of the flour if you have more than one tablespoon or teaspoon of something put each seperate pile in a different spot on top of the flour.  That way you will never be unsure of how much of an ingredient you have added if you get interupted or just forget.  Place all the ingredients that way before mixing them all in together.  You bowl should look like this.

 

 

It is hard to see from the picture that there are also piles of salt, baking powder, and baking soda.

 

 

I was making multiple loaves of zucchini bread so it was very important to make sure I got the ingredients correct.
