‘True Blood’ Season 5 Episode 10 ‘Gone, Gone, Gone’ Preview: Accept or Die?

True Blood season 5 continues next week with episode 10, “Gone, Gone, Gone.” There are only three episodes left of the season, and it’s all leading up to a big cliffhanger once again.

Season 5 Episode 10 “Gone, Gone, Gone” Promo

“With vampire-on-human attacks increasing, the Authority attempts to woo public favor. Meanwhile, Nora (Lucy Griffiths) tries to convert Eric to Lilith’s gospel. Jason finds a mysterious scroll; Elijah (Keram Malicki-Sanchez), the new vampire sheriff of Area 5, pushes Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) and Tara (Rutina Wesley) to obey a new mandate; Sam (Sam Trammell) and Luna (Janina Gavankar) search for Emma (Chloe Noelle); Russell (Denis O’Hare) seeks a higher calling.”

The last episode, “Everybody Wants to Rule the World,” ended with Bill betraying Eric, which led to Salome waiting when he and Molly tried to make their escape. Bill’s not in a good place right now, and there’s no way for this to end well. Then there’s the matter of Steve now having Emma as a pet; will Sam and Luna find her in the next episode? Considering how Martha reacted to the vampires, she’s not going to keep this quiet, but will they be able to find Russell and Steve before the finale? How long will Steve have her?

The True Blood season 5 episode 10 promo for “Gone, Gone, Gone” (below) shows the fairies looking at what could be the mysterious scroll mentioned in the episode synopsis. Russell says that fairy blood allows them to walk in the sun. Is Sookie now going to be hunted by multiple vampires with her powers not strong enough to use for protection? Meanwhile, Tara asks Pam if she’s going to let Elijah take everything, but her maker plans for them to live like she and Eric did.

Speaking of Eric, he’s brought in front of Bill, how warns him the True Death will come soon if he doesn’t accept Lilith. However, Eric says to let it come. Uh-oh. Would Bill really let that happen to Eric? Considering how Bill has been acting, he’s definitely not himself, but can he come back from that? Will he come back from it in time?

Luna tells Sam she’s going to spill about everything, but he warns her that will get her locked up. The promo shows her going into Steve’s dressing room, but will she find Emma, or will this end with Sam having to save both Emma and Luna?
