True Blood 2008 logoThe last episode, “Hopeless,” ended with Russell moments from execution, only for the iStake to fail and him to get the upper hand, killing Roman. So now that Roman’s dead, what does that mean for the Authority? The drama for Arlene and Terry will continue in this episode as well. When he told her he was cursed in the previous episode, she thought he was off his meds. Could her attempts to perhaps help him put her and the kids in danger? Was that really the end for them? It couldn’t be, right?

The True Blood season 5 episode 7 promo for “In the Beginning” (below) begins with Bill telling Eric, “Whoever it was used us…to deliver Roman’s killer right to him.” All Eric says is “Nora.” Meanwhile, Sookie finds out her magic is finite, leading to her wondering if she’ll then be human. Is she going to try to drain herself of her magic to become human? It seems like that would just be too easy. There has to be a catch. Russell will be going public, and there’s a war coming between vampires and humans. Who will end up on which side? Who will survive it?
