UFC 150 is almost underway and the card features a lightweight title fight between Frankie Edgar and Ben Henderson. This title fight will be a rematch, which is something Frankie Edgar is accustomed to after having already rematched Gray Maynard and B.J. Penn when he was champ.

This fight has the makings to be another classic, and Ben Henderson will look to prove that he is the undisputed lightweight champion of the world. Leading up towards this bout, many have been wondering whether the altitude in Denver will affect both fights, since they have the opportunity to fight for an entire 25 minutes.

These former team mates will be trying to move back up the lightweight ladder, and they both have made it clear that their friendship won’t comprise their fight come Saturday. He will look to put on a show in the UFC for the home crowd, and move one step closer to challenging for the title.

For Guillard, he wants to prove that his skills are finally all coming together. In his last fight, he was tested in the jiu jitsu aspect and he passed with flying colors. He will be looking for a big knockout win over his close friend Cerrone, and hopes it to be an exciting affair.

Another exciting fight on the card is a middleweight bout between former Strikeforce middleweight champion Jake Shields and TUF veteran Ed Herman. Both of these fighters will be looking to move their way up the middleweight ladder, and the winner may be one step closer to a title shot. This fight is exciting because both fighters excel in the grappling aspect, which should be a true treat for jiu jitsu and wrestling fans out there.

The fight can be ordered on pay per view or it can be watched online. August 11, 2012 should be a night to remember for MMA lightweights, and should be a night with a lot of stories when it’s all said and done with.
