There has been talk of UFO activity for thousands of years. Did ancient aliens show cavemen how to get fire? Did early man draw pictures of space crafts on cave walls? Are aliens responsible for the pyramids? Are the governments of the world in contact with beings from other planets?

With all the space craft sightings and all the conspiracy theories why did it take so long for someone to create a soap opera on this topic?

“Milgram and the Fastwalkers” is an internet soap opera that focuses on how a community reacts with unidentified flying object encounters.

Richard Cutting is the director of the soap opera and, according to The Republic, also the lead actor.

Cutting plays Dr. Daniel Milgram, a doctor who starts to study unidentified flying objects when a new client, Sally Lemm, played by Walker Hays, comes to him with concerns.

Richard Cutting would like to get the soap opera picked up on a television network. “I really wanted to write a soap opera, which is about the daily lives of people, not necessarily from the point of view of UFOs, but what happens if they infiltrate people’s lives,” Cutting said. “It totally freaks them out. It also freaks people out in different ways.”

It’s surprising that this very popular topic hasn’t been made into a television series yet. Yes, there was that comedy from the 1960s, “My Favorite Martian” where a Martian visits Earth and lives with a human posing as the uncle while trying to fix his space craft to get back to Mars.

And there was the movie, “Alien Nation”, which was turned into a short-lived television series but there was never a show about how people would act if aliens landed in a small town. “Milgram and the Fastwalkers” just might be the beginning of television programs like this.

Yet, will people watch a soap opera about alien encounters? “Alien Nation”, the movie, did well but the television series ended after a couple of seasons. On the other hand, “Dark Shadows,” the soap opera about vampires, did well and is now a cult series.

To whet your appetite, here’s the first video of “Milgram and the Fastwalkers.” All the others are on YouTube as well.

Keep watching the skies, the flying object that’s seen buzzing around might beam down the next lead actor or actress on a television soap.
