A Ventura County fire burned up some 200 acres earlier today. The brush fire is northwest of Los Angeles, California. Mandatory evacuations were ordered in certain areas near the active fire such as Fillmore and Moorpark cities. Emergency services dispatched over 150 firefighters, eight air tankers and four helitankers to combat the blaze. Dry brush and high winds caused the fire to spread quickly.

Wildfires and earthquakes…two things that give me pause whenever I think about moving to Cali.
