Missing Streamwood woman Rachel Morris was found dead in the wetlands of Shady Oaks Park. She had been missing for just a little over a week before the sad discovery, and this outcome couldn’t be more saddening to her loved ones. There aren’t many details in this developing stories, including whether or not police suspect homicide in the missing woman’s death.
An autopsy is scheduled for Friday and the cause of death will hopefully be revealed. Was Rachel Morris murdered or was her death the result of something else. While it’s easy to speculate immediately that she could have fallen victim to foul play, it’s also a possibility that the woman suffered an accident or even took her own life. Without enough information it’s just hard to speculate on what may have happened to her. Hopefully more information comes out after the autopsy so officials won’t have to be so tight-lipped about the case.
