Who Brutally Murdered Saavni Venna’s Grandmother?

Saavni Venna’s grandmother was murdered before she was kidnapped—and remains missing. Now the grandmother’s cause of death has been revealed, and it’s just disturbing. The coroner says that the woman died from “incised wounds” to her neck and chest. The actual definition of “incise wounds,” according to McGraw-Hill, goes as follows:

“Wounds inflicted with a sharp-edged instrument such as a knife or razor; typically narrow at the ends and gaping at the center, with considerable bleeding.”

In other words, the woman’s throat was cut, and she was stabbed in the chest. This is an extremely violent way to die, and it’s indicative of a high level of either rage or detachment from human life. The person who did this could have had seething hatred for the woman, her family, or her culture, or the perp could have been strung out on drugs.

Saavni Venna’s case is nearing a week old, and there have been no updates on her possible whereabouts. This is extremely distressing, especially with nobody touching the $50,000 reward.
