I came across this cool website and great giveaway when I searched for a photo safari to take tiger, lion and big cat photos.

Turns out that the Big Cat Rescue in Tampa has one of the most interesting websites that I’ve come across in a while.

A gem worthy of supporting and sharing with my gather friends:)

For starters:

How does this sound? Stay at a Luxury Beach Resort – Take a Dolphin Sightseeing Cruise – Walk on the wild side and prowl around at a Big Cat Rescue – Enjoy a beautiful sunset on the beach.

2010 is the year of the Tiger

so go visit the Big Cat Rescue and hear them roar.

Big Cat Rescue is the world’s largest big cat rescue and sanctuary (on 45 acres) and is accredited by the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries.

See lions, tigers, ozelots, panthers, 15 different species, rare, exotic, extinct in the wild or endangered cat species. Over 100 big cats all living in their own cat – a – tat, each one built just for them. I can’t wait to see them all.

Prowl For Adventure in Tampa

You can take a day tour, night tour, kids tour … photo safari and more.

Check out their website – adopt a tiger, or just read the rescue stories about the amazing, cool cats that live at the Big Cat Rescue in Tampa.

Would you believe they have 300 videos? or download coloring pages for your kids under free stuff.

My favorite video was of

  the cats painting pictures

 for their upcoming Furr Ball.

If you visit Tampa Bay around Oct 8, 2010 come to the ball!

My SIL recommended viewing their video “Do big cats like catnip?”

Or play any of their games for free – I loved the big cat bingo:)

So go have some fun, get educated, entertain the kids and adopt a tiger whose name and story you liked the best.

Here’s the address in case you’d like to visit while you vacation in the Tampa Bay Area:

Wishing you luck!
