Predators lurk everywhere, looking for an opportunity to commit a crime. And too often a robbery turns into physical violence if the criminal encounters someone who is alone.

A woman, age 22, was working alone in a bakery in Park Slope, Brooklyn when she was attacked. The criminal first asked for money. When the young woman informed him she did not have any cash he raped her, notes CBS. The criminal made her go to a back area of the bakery and the attack occurred there.

The criminal was armed and wearing a mask. The attack occurred at about 9 a.m. on Friday, notes the NY Daily News. Brazen attacks during business hours are quite sickening. Perhaps all businesses need security cameras inside the company to ensure that there will be some evidence if a crime occurs there.
