When I grow up,

I want to be

a writer.

I want to write

tomes on the clay and the sand,

and volumes in rock walls of caves.

I want to write

novels on leaves with the grass

and its fresh, moist, wet dew.

I want to write

books on the corpses of trees

all about how all murder is bad.

I want to write

history in blood and in sweat and

in action and words

in my notebook.
