Welcome to live coverage of WWE Raw results for 07/04/11, featuring the latest on the CM Punk suspension and more of the Money in the Bank PPV preview. Tonight’s show should be a very interesting episode after last week’s big rant by CM Punk as Raw went off the air!

On the Raw results for last week, it was Raw Roulette in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main event saw John Cena lose in a tables match to his recent nemesis, R-Truth, thanks to the interference by CM Punk. After Cena was left laying on a broken table in the ring, and Truth had escaped backstage, CM Punk went to the top of the ramp, sat down and made a huge statement.

That statement included Punk calling out the WWE fans, the company, Chairman Vince McMahon, John Cena, The Rock, and even Hulk Hogan. It was considered a classic promo by many analysts and WWE fans all over. It’s added much intrigue to the upcoming Money in the Bank WWE Championship match involving Cena and Punk as well.

The rant led to CM Punk being “suspended” by Chairman Vince McMahon. There’s news that the chairman may appear on tonight’s Raw to respond to it all, but no news yet of whether or not CM Punk will be involved.

However, there should also be exciting matches on tonight’s Fourth of July edition of Raw. Expect top superstars such as John Cena, Kofi Kingston, Alberto Del Rio, Rey Mysterio and Big Show to be just a few of those involved in the patriotic wrestling episode.
