In WWE rumors, there’s been buzz that The Undertaker will finally return sometime on WWE Raw, just in time for the “Road to WrestleMania.” With WM29 coming up in about a month, it seems like the rumors could be true that he’ll appear on Monday’s “Old School” episode of Raw. What will the situation be and will an opponent be established for Mania though?
According to a PWInsider report via Bleacher Report, The Undertaker, real name Mark Calaway was seen backstage at the Raw in Buffalo, New York. With that information in mind, it seems likely Taker will appear as part of the “Old School” Raw, since after all he is a legend, and does go “Old School” as one of his moves in the ring. The logic seems to point to Undertaker setting up his feud with CM Punk so the two can head into a match at WrestleMania 29.
Last time “The Deadman” showed up from the dead on Raw was for the 1000th episode. He didn’t really wrestle, but instead helped his brother Kane to dispatch of a number of superstars in the ring, doing a few big moves in the process. Since then, fans have been wondering if he’d be able to compete at this year’s edition of WrestleMania to continue his “streak.” It seems like he will be good to go, and if any opponent is capable of helping to make another classic match with the legendary Undertaker, it’s CM Punk. Unfortunately for Punk, he still isn’t getting to main event Pay-Per-Views, although he and Taker could provide one of the best matches of the PPV card.
Do you think Undertaker will show up to feud with CM Punk, or for something else?
