Let the WWE rumors for 2013 begin as the Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View will arrive in just weeks from now. Fans have also been wondering about several superstars and when they might return, and it appears there’s potential for that Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar rematch to take place at WWE’s WrestleMania 29.
The Wrestling Inc. website reported earlier today that Brock Lesnar will make multiple appearances on television for February and March of 2013. The idea will likely be to have him and Triple H start building up towards a highly-anticipated rematch for WrestleMania 29. Previously, Lesnar destroyed “The Game” in a Pay-Per-View match, leading to what many believed was the final in-ring appearance for HHH. At least, that’s what WWE wanted fans to believe.
The other news is that Lesnar’s contract will expire as of WrestleMania, and that means if he doesn’t re-sign, he won’t be showing up anymore after the huge PPV. The same could go for Triple H, The Rock and Undertaker. The biggest problem that WWE will face is the fact of making such an epic Pay-Per-View this coming Mania, which will be hard to match next year and beyond, unless they have seriously built up some fresh new talent.
Anticipated matches for the upcoming WM29 Pay-Per-View already include HHH vs. Lesnar, John Cena vs. The Rock part 2, and what some believe will be CM Punk vs. The Undertaker. There will likely be a big World Heavyweight Championship match too, but that will probably pale in comparison on the marquee, and won’t main event. The one “ace up their sleeve” that WWE may have left is if Stone Cold Steve Austin decides to return from retirement and face Punk at WrestleMania 30 as has been teased for several months now.
Who do you believe will win a Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H match at WrestleMania 29? If Triple H wins, shouldn’t they have a third match to break their 1-1 tie? Will Lesnar be done with WWE this year?
