Today is Christmas day, but other holidays are shared at this time. I have a dear friend that is Christian and married to a Jewish man. They’re a lot of fun to be around, and they celebrate both Hanukkah and Christmas.
Since I expect little traffic today, I thought to give you a simple prompt. Over the next week or so, tell us how you spent your holidays this time of year. What do you celebrate and how?
Criticism is welcome here. It’s a great way for writers to learn what a reader thinks and how they could improve their work (that includes me).
The Rules for Gather Writing :
Keep in mind, this is a monitored group and there are only a couple of rules, which are:
Make sure you put this (WWE, 12/25/13, Holidays) in your title.
Be sure to tag it with WWE, Gather Writing Essential, Holidays. Post to Gather Writing Essential, and be sure to make a comment on this post, so I’ll be able to check on anyone that may have responded.
I ask that you make your submission(s) by next Tuesday afternoon, but if you’re late, just give me the link. Actually, give me your link even if it’s on time or I might not know about it.
Put this challenge statement at the beginning or end of your submission so readers will know what you’re supposed to do and won’t think you’re crazy.
Your challenge: Tell us how you spent your holidays this time of year
Who cares about the 3 submission thing. Do as many as you want.
BELOW ARE RESPONSES TO PRIOR CHALLENGES. Maybe not a huge response, but wonderful reading. Please let me know if I missed anyone’s post and I’ll get it linked for next week.
